FOR THE FIRST time in 30 years, the Marin Highlanders varsity rugby team will be returning to the USA Rugby National Championship Invitational Tournament in Sandy City, Utah on Friday.

-USA Rugby's National Championship Invitational Tournament will feature eight of the best high school clubs in the country. The teams will descend on Sandy, UT, May 18 & 19 and the tournament winner will be crowned National High School Club Champions!
-It has been 30 years since the Highlanders (Then the Redwood Rugby Club) competed on a National Stage. Our return reflects on all the hard work of the Players, Coaches and Administrators.

It has been a very successful season thus far for the Marin Highlander High School Teams.

-The Varsity Team has qualified for the USA Rugby National Tournament

-The Varsity Gold Team are R.E.C. Champions again, and into the NorCal Playoffs with a game Saturday 4/28 at RHS against powerhouse Motherlode RFC.

-The Varsity Silver Team is into the NorCal playoffs with a game 4/28 vs. South Valley also at RHS.

-The Frosh/Soph team will travel to Rocklin on Saturday, 4/28 to take on the Sierra Foothill RFC in their first ever playoff appearance.

CONGRATULATIONS to all high school players, coaching staffs and administrators! This is a first for the Highlanders.

ELITE RUGBY CAMP USA is the premier rugby camp in the nation for boys of all skill levels, ages 8 to 18. ELITE carefully designs a sequence of instruction using modern technique to give campers the best experience possible!
ELITE is dedicated to providing campers with coaching instruction from current players and coaches on the USA Mens Rugby Team.
The three day camp is Tuesday through Thursday, June 12-14 and at Hall Middle School in Larkspur from 10:00-3:00.

There will be touch rugby FOR ALL AGES every Thursday from 5:00-6:00 at the Corte Madera Town Park starting Thursday, June 14, 2012 (there will be no touch on July 5) with our last session on Thursday, July 26, 2012. If you played rugby with the Highlanders during the regular season, you only need to show up.
